This is
for the series of review of the IT100 from Samsung. This will be going for 4
weeks.
#1 Blogging and
camera The more blogging, the more desires for
blogging. I ve been trying various things recently in my blog. As you can see my
blog, my blogging such as twitter and Metoday and the other trial to make a meta
blog are going on. Around the side bar, a mini blogging has been going on. The
ultimate goal of my blogging is a blogging in my life. It s to take what I feel,
see, hear, and think any time, anywhere. For that, application and hardware for
the content creation are needed. For me, when I started my blog first, I ve
considered a camera much among DSLR, high end, and compact cameras. I finally
selected the high end camera. The size was like DSLR, but the performance was
worse than brand new compact digital camera. Come to think of it, it was not
suitable for blogging, because of the worse portability and inconvenience. I
should have chosen the compact camera which is easy to take and edit. It s not
really important to choose a camera, but I needed a fast camera to take the
world with my pure soul.
#2 Getting the
IT100 Recently, I ve got a pretty camera. It s
the Samsung IT100. This will become my eye for 4 weeks to take my memory. The
box is very small as the camera.

Through
the fast upgrade of Samsung digital imaging, former digital cameras start to
disappear and changes have been coming with new products. Finally, not pixels,
but functions and prices will be the most important points of the digital camera
market, I think.
Before
reviewing the IT100 from Samsung for 4 weeks, I m going to preview the strong
and weak point from the view point of users.

The IT100
supporting 12.2M pixels digital camera, Smart auto function, 28mm wide optical
5x zoom, HD video recording is going for an intelligent camera. When first
taking the camera, the heavy image was impressive. There are 4 products such as
black/gray/tomato red/dark blue in the white box, and I ve got the black
one.
The size
of the box is similar to the box of MP3 players from Samsung, it s optimized for
carrying and present and the box is made of recycling material. On the top
(front) of the box, it shows the lens and case well.

I ve got a chance to review a compact
digital camera. I ve been reviewing cell phones several times, but it s the
first time for me to review a camera (My camera is DSLR Canon EOS 350D), so I ve
felt some burden. However, I ve wanted a camera review and for carrying and
taking pictures, compact cameras are much better than the DSLR. That s why I ve
tried this.
This product I m
going to review is a compact digital camera IT100 from Samsung. Palm size, black
body, and cute design are so charming, I can say. It can be compared to various
products (Not DSLR) such as Nikkon Coolpix 3100 which I used, and the size and
thickness is similar (Personally, the Coolpix 3100 is the best portable digital
camera.), but this has much better functions, I think. It s because the IT100
has various shot functions and HD video recording function. (FYI, the Coolpix
3100 supports 3.0M pixels.) Let s talk about the performance later.
Once I ve
got the product, I d like to start with a preview. Let s check the box
first.

Pictures Everytime? It means whenever, and I have to see.

Notti is not a
professional photographer. Not good at taking pictures. He is just a scripter
who records his travel story with a camera naturally. He doesn t use DSLR like a
professional. He doesn t spend much time to take a picture, either. He just
takes the scenes, moving objects depending on what he feels
This Notti has got a
guest. All the way from Korea to Thailand, the best new product of Samsung has
come to see me as it is.
Most of all, I d like to
thank them for having interests in my story and sending me this precious
present. As an acknowledgement for the gift, I will do my job only with this
camera for 2 months.
If there
s anyone preparing for oversea travel and looking for a compact digital camera,
I think the IT100 from Samsung would be a good choice. Because Notti is not a
professional photographer, my level might be the same as normal
travelers.
This is
the IT100 from Samsung all the way from Korea to here Thailand. And the name is
interesting. IT100. It has a meaning of intelligence. Then why? Even though the
size is small, but it can take high quality pictures and has various functional
merits.
